NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY COMPETITIONS FOR UP LEVEL AT GMS AVAROTH ON THE GENERAL THEME “FOSTERING SCIENTIFIC TEMPER”. ON 19 AUGUST 2014 from 10 AM onwards...Registration Starts at 9.30 AM..All Are welcome....


National Science Day is celebrated all over the country, commemorating the discovery of the Raman Effect by C.V. Raman, for which he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930.

The Science Day celebrations comprise major competitions based on science for the students outreach in the general theme for the year “FOSTERING SCIENTIFIC TEMPER”. In connection with National Science day 2014 Department of Education - Govt.of Puducherry – under the guidance of Chief Educational Officer, Mahe  decided to conduct various competitions at Upper Primary Level as per the time given below at Govt.Middle School Avaroth  on 19th August 2014.
